A Collaborative Movement

Using principles of collaboration, over 100 community-based members have joined together with the national organisation Mission Australia to help stimulate collective action and sustain the long-term changes they want to see.

The Working Groups

Collaborative working clusters are made up of volunteers from the community, service providers and local business. They sit alongside the Steering Committee to think deeply, test ideas and suggest solutions.

Role of Backbone Organisation

Mission Australia is committed to collaborating with the Cairns South Together movement and providing resources to progress and support the activities of the broader movement.

In Cairns South, Mission Australia works alongside the local community through a range of programs and services including:
