Our Community

We are guided by the diverse lived experience of community members from Cairns southern suburbs, along with their insights, hopes and dreams for their families, neighbourhoods and the broader community

Nothing about us, Without us

Cairns South Together is a community-led, place-based initiative that believes in the power of collective impact.

This is reflected in our motto and reminds us we have an opportunity and responsibility to all work together to shape solutions for the future of our children and young people.

Together

We aim to address current social challenges by rewriting a positive cycle in two key life stages simultaneously so that:

Cairns South Together

Children are developing well in their first 1,000 days and launch into early learning

Cairns South Together

Young people have the foundations needed as they start adolescence and launch into a thriving future
